Permanent Residents

ZENAH: Zenah came to us in 2013 along with her sister Siyah (we lost Siyah 2/5/16). They were turned into an Amnesty event run by the State of Florida. Being an approved adopter, while I was looking for a sugar glider, I found them instead. She is currently pre-adrenal and will get an implant soon.

LUNA: Luna came into rescue in October 2014 with her sister, Mishka (we lost Mishka 6/20/17). They were living free roam with German Shepherds, left to defend themselves. They were physically and mentally abused. Luna rebounded pretty quickly, but to this day will give you love nips if you reach in the cage and don't pay attention to her!

RYDER: Ryder was found while I was looking at Craigslist ads for a friend's missing ferret. When I walked into the small concrete house, that had no power during the summer, I saw him in a guinea pig cage with feces so old they were white, no food or water, nails curled into his pads, with a rusty coffee can hung from the top with baling twine. The cage was covered in flies, and he was covered in fleas. Ryder was in the early stages of heat stroke. I grabbed him and ran. He's a Waardy, so I made the decision to keep him as a permanent resident.
