About Us

I have been rescuing ferrets for several years, first being the Vice President of a ferret rescue, then opening my own.

It seems as though I am a "senior" magnet. The majority of ferrets who come into my care are older ferrets with medical problems. These ferrets do not go up for adoption. Because they're older, and have one or more medical issues, they become permanent residents, to live out what time they have. They will come to know love, care, good food, and how to act like a ferret.

The fuzzies here get Orijen Cat/Kitten and Regional Red and some are raw and/or partial raw-fed. I feel like Orijen is one of, if not the best, kibble on the market. I like the mix of the two Orijen products as the Cat/Kitten is a poultry mix while the Regional Red contains beef and no poultry. The babies also get soupies everyday to help keep them healthy. The only cages used are Ferret Nations.

As of October 2018 we currently have six babies with insulinoma and eight with varying stages of adrenal. I thank the good Lord for a wonderful vet who knows how fragile, yet wonderful, these babies are.

When I have babies available for adoption, please know up front that I require an application, vet reference, if close enough a home visit, or if not within driving distance I will have a closer rescue do a home visit, or, I will need to Skype so I can see where they will be living. And no, I will not ship.

We are constantly researching areas of health and nutrition to keep our babies as healthy as we can for as long as we can. We offer ferret education for the new owner as well.
